Mental Health Legal Committee Turns 10

TORONTO - February 9, 2007 - The volunteer organization founded to advocate for the recognition of the autonomy of consumer/survivors of mental health services plans to mark the milestone of its tenth anniversary with a reception and award ceremony to be held Friday, April 27, 2007 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Queen Street Site Cafeteria. 

The MHLC will confer its inaugural advocacy awards upon noted disability lawyer Carla McKague, consumer advocates Randy Pritchard and Don Weitz and founding chair Anita Szigeti, who will deliver an address entitled, The Last Ten Years of Advocacy and the Next Ten.
