Alex Procope Joins Firm

TORONTO - March 25, 2008 - Swadron Associates is pleased to welcome Alex Procope as its newest associate.  Alex received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and history from the University of Toronto before attending the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor.  He articled at WeirFoulds LLP and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2007. 

While at law school, Alex was the primary student researcher for David Tanovich's book, The Colour of Justice.  He also served as the executive editor of the faculty magazine, the Oyez and was a group advisor at the school's student-run clinic, Community Legal Aid.  Alex is a member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers.  He has a strong interest in social justice law.
