Marshall Swadron receives volunteer award
TORONTO – June 27, 2013 – At a ceremony held this evening at the University of Toronto’s Isabel Bader Theatre, Ontario’s Ministry Citizenship and Immigration recognized Marshall Swadron for over 20 years of volunteer service as honorary counsel to The Museum of Mental Health Services (Toronto) Inc.
The Museum is the corporate identity of the Center for Addiction and Mental Health’s Friends of the Archives Volunteer Program. The program provides access to historic hospital and patient records and artifacts, primarily to scholars of the history of society’s response to mental disorder. It also receives donations and funds bursaries to further this work.
At ceremonies held this year across the Province, the Ministry presented Volunteer Service Awards to thousands of Ontarians recognizing between five and 60 years of volunteer service. Please click here to view Marshall’s certificate.
