On Wednesday, January 31, 2018, Marshall Swadron will speak together with Clare Burns of WeirFoulds LLP on the subject of Professionalism, Ethics and Older Clients at the Osgoode Professional Development Certificate Program on Elder Law. The Ontario Bar Association's annual Institute runs from February 6 through 10, 2018. Marshall will be speaking at the Administrative Law Section's program in the afternoon of Tuesday, February 6, 2018 entitled, "Ten Years Later: Coherence and Consistency in Administrative Practice Post-Dunsmuir". Marshall will be part of a panel entitled Achieving Consistency in Adjudicative Decision Making. Please click here to view the program agenda. On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, Marshall will be a panelist at Osgoode Hall Law School's Mental Health Law Society career day, an opportunity for students to learn about mental health and capacity advocacy and career paths leading to this field.

On Monday, March 26, 2018, Marshall will speak to at the University of Toronto Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the invitation of Laura Tamblyn Watts in the course Law and Aging on the subject of mental health law and older adults.
