Matthew Cohen Joins Team

TORONTO - October 11, 2005 - Swadron Associates is pleased to announce that Matthew Cohen will join the firm effective October 31, 2005. Matt pursued undergraduate studies at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and McGill University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill in Political Science. He attended University of Toronto Law School and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2001. Matt articled and spent three years as a litigation associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP where he established a pro bono partnership between the firm and the HIV/AIDS Legal Clinic of Ontario. Most recently, Matt has completed a Masters degree in law at University of Cape Town in South Africa, including his dissertation on remedies for violations of socio-economic rights.
