Other Public Law
Public law addresses the conduct of government and quasi-government actors such as government agencies and professional governing bodies. In addition to our human rights and Charter litigation practices, we provide assistance in a variety of public law settings including coroners inquests, applications for judicial review and the regulation of professionals.
We have acted matters as diverse as appeals to the Health Services Appeal and Review Board and court applications seeking the re-instatement of persons removed from witness protection programs. In the area of professional regulation, firm members have acted for and advised architects, lawyers, midwives, nurses, pharmacists, real estate appraisers, respiratory therapists and university professors.
